This program is a thoughtfully designed outdoor immersion for children and young adolescents (10–16 years), blending forest exploration, cultural experiences, and mindful adventure in the Kumaon Himalayas. Set amid deodar forests, mountain trails, wildlife sanctuaries, and serene lakes, the program encourages participants to step away from everyday routines and reconnect with nature at a gentle, unhurried pace. Through walking trails, observing wildlife, and engaging with local communities, participants develop a deeper connection with the land, people, and themselves.
Moderately challenging yet nurturing, the program balances adventure with reflection. Activities such as trekking, kayaking, climbing, birdwatching, and camp-based living are complemented by village interactions and shared responsibilities. Group living and guided reflections help cultivate humility, confidence, empathy, and teamwork.
