Farmventure - Wada

Away yet close to Mumbai, FarmVenture – Wada Camp is set across 50 acres of pollution-free farmland amidst mango, chikoo, coconut, and corn plantations. Designed especially for first-time campers, this short and safe overnight camp offers a gentle introduction to outdoor living through simple, low-risk adventure activities and nature-based experiences.

This 2-day, 1-night camp focuses on helping children build confidence, independence, and social skills in a warm, supervised environment. With teamwork, fun challenges, and shared moments away from screens, children enjoy their first camping experience while parents feel reassured about safety, comfort, and proximity to home.

Highlights

  1. Small group size enabling personal bonding and vigilance.
  2. Practice of Experiential Methodology, thus creating a SAFE Environment for the child to participate and express freely.

Itinerary

Here’s what a thoughtfully planned 2 Days / 1 Night FarmVenture – Wada Camp looks like. The schedule is designed keeping weather conditions in mind, with adventure activities planned only during cooler hours, ensuring safety, comfort, and enjoyment for first-time campers.

Day 1 – Journey & Evening Adventures

  • 07:00 – Departure from Mumbai by comfortable bus, with ice-breaker games and group bonding during the journey.
  • 10:00 – Arrival at the campsite, welcome briefing, room allocation, and time to freshen up.
  • 11:00 – Energisers and Fun Games
  • 12:30 – Lunch followed by rest and quiet indoor/group activities to avoid afternoon heat.
  • 15:00 – Adventure activity session begins, including Burma Bridge, Commando Bridge, Ladder Bridge, Tunnel Crossing, Zipline, and Free Fall under expert supervision.
  • 18:00 – Evening refreshments and cool-down time.
  • 18:30 – Team games and group challenges.
  • 20:00 – Dinner with the group.
  • 20:30 – Campfire evening with songs, games and reflection.
  • 21:30 – Lights out for a restful night.

Day 2 – Morning Activities, Adventure & Return

  • 6:30 - Wake-up call followed by Gaushala Visit and walk around the river
  • 08:00 – Breakfast at the campsite.
  • 08:00 – Adventure activity session including Tree Climbing, Burma Bridge, Commando Bridge, and selected challenge elements.
  • 11:00 – Nature and farm-based experiences including Visit to Farm, and Nature Art
  • 13:30 – Lunch and pack-up.
  • 15:00 – Closing circle, feedback, and camp wrap-up.
  • 15:30 – Tea & Snack
  • 16:00 - Departure from Wada for Mumbai.
  • This is a sample itinerary. Kshitij reserves the right to cancel or alter any aspect of our program as a result of unforeseen circumstances, including weather, environment, or health hazards. To the best of our ability, the substitution of activities will be comparable to, or better than, the original activity.

To Bring!

What to Bring!

Sport Shoes, 1 ltr Water Bottles for each participant including child, Swimming Costume, Chocolates, Sunscreen, Peppermint, Personal Medication if any, shoulder bag for each participant including child (no sling bags).


What not to Bring!

Chappals, Money, Expensive Jewellery and Junk Food.


P.S.: Please do carry a small shoulder bag to carry during the trek which will be enough to carry water bottles, cap, handkerchief, plastic bag and chocolates. Also advisably each participant should carry it, including children. Do not carry common bag between whole family.
