Panchgani is nestled in the middle of five hills in the Sahyādri mountain ranges; the five villages around Panchgani are Dandeghar, Khingar, Godwali, Amral, and Taighat. The Krishnā River flows nearby, which created the Dhom Dam lake on the Krishna River, located 9 km from Wai. FAQ

Can first-timers join the camp?

This camp is designed in a way that even first-timers find it easy to participate and enjoy all activities.

How is safety ensured?

The activity setup is permanent in nature, except for rappelling and rock climbing, which happens on natural rock patches. Our instructors who conduct the adventure activities are certified in their mountaineering courses, and industry-recommended outdoor gear is used. This ensures the physical safety of all participants. Kshitij instructors are trained in PIES, so they ensure the emotional and intellectual safety of the participants is taken care of.

What if there is an emergency during the activity? How will the team manage it?

Owing to three-tier safety, there isn't any scope for any physical or technical emergency. In case one arises, we have team members on standby who will immediately rush to aid the participant. There is a standby vehicle available on the site in case of a medical emergency. The team gets in touch with the office, who in turn gets in touch with the parents, and together the team figures out the best way to deal with a situation if one may arise.

On the way back, where will you provide dinner to the kids?

We depart from the campsite after lunch. Snacks will be provided on the way. Dinner is not included in the package cost on the last day.

What if the kids do not like the food? Do you have any other options?

This is a camping program. The menu is fixed for the day. The kids can choose to eat what they like from what is available.
