Designed especially for children looking out for a start to their fondness of camping, this Adventure Camp opens up a whole new world for the kids. Imagine a place surrounded by Greens and wilderness, soothing climate topped by chirps of tiny birds and hums of animals! Away from home, but barely away from familiarity, this experience will make your child more independent and fearless! We have ample activities like rock climbing, rappelling, commando bridge, rifle shooting and many more!

Camp Purpose: This camp aims at giving the first time campers a feel of wilderness and adventure sports at a campsite based in the heart of mumbai. This is the first step for every child who wishes to explore the beauty and fun of the outdoors. This surely marks a child's first step towards independent living away from parents and bonding with peers!

Highlights

  1. Small group size enabling personal bonding and vigilance.
  2. Practice of Experiential Methodology, thus creating a SAFE Environment for the child to participate and express freely.
  3. NO COMPETITION throughout the camp, ensuring the kids feel welcome, and do not feel pressurized emotionally or socially.

  • Reporting at campsite at 8:30 am.

This is a sample itinerary. Kshitij reserves the right to cancel or alter any aspect of our program as a result of unforeseen circumstances, including weather, environment or health hazards. To the best of our ability, substitution of activities will be comparable to, or better than the original activity.

To Bring!

What to Bring!

Sport Shoes, 1 ltr Water Bottles for each participant including child, Chocolates, Sunscreen, Peppermint, Personal Medication if any, shoulder bag for each participant including child (no sling bags).


What not to Bring!

Chappals, Money, Expensive Jewellery and Junk Food.


P.S.: Please do carry a small shoulder bag to carry during the trek which will be enough to carry water bottles, cap, handkerchief, plastic bag and chocolates. Also advisably each participant should carry it, including children. Do not carry common bag between whole family.

FAQ

How many and What type of washrooms will be there?

The activity area and the dormitory has separate washrooms for girls and boys. These are all western style toilets, maintained clean, with water available throughout the day.


What time parents can contact their kids?

In this program, parents are not allowed to contact their kids directly. Our facilitators will be in touch with parents over the whats-app group. Updates and pictures will be sent on timely intervals to let the parents know about what is happening on the program.


How safe are the activities?

The activity set up is permanent in nature. Our instructors who conduct the adventure activities are certified in their mountaineering courses, industry recommended outdoor gear is used. This ensures physical safety of all participants. Kshitij instructors are trained in PIES , so they ensure emotional and intellectual safety of the participants is taken care of.


Will there be female facilitators?

Yes, female instructors are available on the program.


Where will be the kids sleeping at night? (together or separate / boys and girls)

The kids will share a common dormitory with separate zones for boys and girls.


Is there Emergency Vehicle available?

We do not have any emergency vehicle available. We use OLA / UBER services in case of an emergency.
