Trek to Manikgad

Manikgad was built to look upon the trade route from Maval to the coastal ports. The fort is about 1,878 feet high and isinvincible from three sides. The upper part can be reached only from the south. The fort presents a very commanding view of the valley surrounding it, with Karnala pinnacle and Prabalgad fort visible prominently.

05:00 am Gather at Borivali National Park, On the way pick up from Kandivali, Malad, Goregaon, Jogeshwari, Andheri, Vile Parle, Kala Nagar, Sion, Amar Mahal (Chembur), Vashi. On the way have breakfast in Bus.
08:00 am Reach base village, have tea & start trek
11:00 am Reach on top and enjoy scenic beauty and click pictures
11:30 am Start Descending
01:30 pm Lunch & rest at our campsite
03:00 pm Have cup of tea and depart for Mumbai
Reach Mumbai between 6 to 7 pm

Pair of clothes, Windcheaters, sport shoes, floaters, plastic bags, water bottles, chocolates, peppermint, personal medication if any, shoulder bag (avoid sling bags).
